SteadyFlow Consulting™
This policy explains how SteadyFlow Consulting uses cookies and similar technologies on steadyflowconsulting.com — what they do, which ones we set, which ones our partners set, and how you can control them.
It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else we do with your personal information.
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit it. Cookies let a site remember things between pages and between visits — which is why your booking form doesn't forget what you typed when you scroll.
We also use technologies that work like cookies: pixels (tiny invisible images that report back when a page loads), web beacons in our emails, and local storage, which keeps small amounts of data in your browser. Where this policy says "cookies", it covers all of these.
We do not use cookies to identify you personally beyond what you have already told us, and we do not sell the data they generate.
Our website and CRM run on GoHighLevel. It sets a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to function — keeping your session alive, remembering your form entries between steps, and protecting forms against spam and abuse.
These are strictly necessary cookies. Without them the site cannot do what you came here to do, so they cannot be switched off from within the site. You can still block them in your browser, but the booking calendar and forms will stop working.
Four third parties set cookies through our site. Each of them has its own privacy policy governing how it uses that data, and we do not control those cookies.
Google Analytics Analytics
Tells us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they move through the site. Cookies: _ga and _ga_<ID>, both lasting up to 2 years.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel Advertising
Measures whether our Facebook and Instagram adverts lead to bookings, and allows us to show ads to people who have visited these pages. Cookies: _fbp and _fbc, lasting up to 3 months. Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account and combine it with data from other sites.
Microsoft Clarity Session recording
Records anonymous sessions and builds heatmaps so we can see where pages confuse people. See Section 5 — this one deserves a fuller explanation. Cookies: _clck (1 year), _clsk (1 day) and identifiers set by clarity.microsoft.com.
YouTube Video
We embed video on some pages. When a video loads, YouTube sets cookies to remember playback preferences and bandwidth, and to count views. Cookies include VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE (6 months) and YSC (session only).
Cookie names and durations are set by these providers and can change without notice. The list above reflects what we understand to be current.
Because it is more intrusive than an ordinary analytics cookie, we want to be plain about this one.
Our session recording tool captures how you interact with a page — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and how long you spend on each section — and replays it back to us as an anonymous session. We use it to find the parts of our pages that confuse people.
It does not capture what you type into forms. Keystrokes in fields such as your name, email address, phone number and revenue figures are masked before the recording reaches us. We do not use these recordings to identify individual visitors, and we do not share them outside our team.
We send booking confirmations, reminders, and marketing emails including offers and case studies. These emails contain a small invisible image that tells us whether the message was opened, and links that tell us if you clicked.
We use this to understand which messages are useful and to stop sending to people who have stopped reading. Most email programmes let you block remote images, which prevents open tracking. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by writing to [email protected].
You have several ways to limit or remove cookies.
If you would like us to delete the data already collected about you through cookies, email [email protected] and we will action it.
This policy covers steadyflowconsulting.com only. Our pages and emails link to services we do not operate, and those sites set their own cookies under their own policies. We would encourage you to read them before sharing anything.
Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data through cookies from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has used this site, contact us and we will delete what we hold.
We may update this policy as the tools we use change. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Please check back from time to time.
If you have questions about how we use cookies, or you would like us to remove data collected about you, email us at [email protected].
We read every message, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
